Love and Death,
Closely Related
A boy and his breath,
Soon to be separated

Upon seeing the eyes,
Of the angel so bright
He hastens to sever all ties,
And Walk into the light

He touches the glow,
The light does repel
Reacting too slow,
He drops down to hell

He cares not for the flame,
He sees a loaded gun
Tempted, he looks at it with shame,
Considering ending his pain for his loved one

He decides to not give in,
To keep on trying
Nichole's heart he must win,
He fights to keep from crying

He sends for the lord of damnation,
To strike with him a deal
The devil accepts his invitation ,
But turn's blood to the boy's required meal

Now the boy walks this land,
Searching for his love
He wants to take her hand,
And Join Her Up Above

The boy will never die,
Therefore she must agree
To forsake her hallowed place on high,
To spend her days with me

The years have passed,
But my love will never die
The angelic beauty that she cast,
Makes me want to cry

My journey goes on,
To find her atop a cloud
I see her; the battle seems to be won,
She calls my name aloud

She takes me in her embrace,
The bargain made is met
So ends the chase,
The end of my time is set

Holding her once again,
I brush aside her hair
She emits shriek of pain,
And yet I hold her there

Blood drips from my chin,
Soon she will turn
This way we both win,
Neither of us burn

We live our lives free,
The both of us together
Doing what we want, you and me,
Together we will live forever!
